The Gastroenterology Department manages complex pancreaticobiliary diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, malabsorption, functional diseases and other general gastroenterology. The department provides comprehensive endoscopic services including general endoscopy, interventional endoscopy, colonoscopy and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreaticography (ERCP).
There is a close working relationship with gastrointestinal surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, paediatricians, Physicians and formalised participation in colorectal, upper-gastrointestinal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease multidisciplinary team meetings.
